Flynth has completed Accon avm acquisition

Arnhem, April 7 2022 – Flynth has completed the acquisition of Accon avm Groep B.V. (“Accon avm”). With this move, the company seeks to offer a wider spectrum of services and add even more sector-specific know-how to its advisory practice. The acquisition creates an advisory and accountancy organisation of approximately 2,400 employees with offices and clients throughout the Netherlands.

Accon avm’s integration into Flynth will proceed in the coming period. The Accon avm brand will be gradually phased out and eventually discontinued. Services to Accon avm’s clients will continue as usual. Clients will retain their usual contact persons, who will become Flynth employees.

A former member of the Management Board at Accon avm, Emmy Lammens has now joined the Flynth Management Board.

Flynth is the largest adviser and accountant for SMEs in the Netherlands. In line with Flynth’s strategy and ambitions, the acquisition will add to Flynth’s current wide range of services in the areas of accountancy, audit & assurance, tax matters and advice. An expert in its field and at home in local markets, Flynth aspires to be a trusted sparring partner for business owners now and going forward. In addition, Flynth will be an even more valuable partner in specific sectors, while its services will benefit from greater efficiency thanks to economies of scale.

Bas Hidding, chairman of the Management Board of Flynth: “We are excited about pooling our knowledge and expertise, which will further reinforce and grow our audit and advisory practice and sector expertise. In addition, our operational scale will accelerate the company’s digitisation efforts and grow its network across the Netherlands. We are looking forward to the integration, and have made it our priority to ensure a smooth transition for both our staff and our clients. For example, our clients can expect to receive the same services, quality and familiar faces as always.”
